Lake Information

Hartwell Lake is one of the Southeast's largest and most popular recreation lakes. Built by the US Army Corps of Engineers between 1955 and 1963. Lake Hartwell is a man-made lake bordering Georgia and South Carolina on the Savannah, Tugaloo and Seneca Rivers. It comprises nearly 56,000 acres of water and a shoreline of 962 miles.
